Description
Ixia are commonly known as the African Corn Lily, even though they bear no resemblance to a more traditional Lily flower. Each of the star-shaped flowers bloom on the end of a thin, dark green stem, in a variety of complimenting colours including pink, white and orange.
The brightly coloured blooms will start to appear in the late summer months, brightening up your beds and borders; the long-lasting flowers also look special as part of cut arrangements so that you can enjoy the blooms inside.
