The Dales Pony is a British Native Pony originally used as a pack and work horse in the upland areas of Yorkshire and Northumberland. They are very resiliant ponies that are ideal for the less confident rider but respond well to the more experienced rider. They are also ideal for driving. More information can be found on the web site of the Dales Pony Society.
